ABOUT RCT
Rollercoaster Tycoon is a game developed by Chris Sawyer (Author of Transport Tycoon a game with similar interface a playability) and published by Hasbro Interactive. The objective is to produce a successful theme park, either by getting above a certain number of guests in a few years time or other means such as having your park worth a certain amount.
There are many rides and buildings at your disposal. Rollercoasters obviously provide most of your income but other rides are also popular where some e.g the miniature railway are simply used to transport people from one side of the park to the other. First impressions from a descrption sound very like theme park (A game I personally never enjoyed.) but after playing for a few minutes the differences are huge most notably Rollercoaster Tycoon is entertaining ;-).
